About
Samantha
Samantha is a dedicated musician and teacher with a lifelong passion for music. Beginning her musical journey at age five with piano lessons, she developed deep connection to the art. She studied the violin for 10 years under her teacher, Sue Jesch, who organized a youth orchestra program in her hometown.
Continuing her music education into adulthood, Samantha has dedicated herself to studying music theory and participating in her musical community. She’s performed in groups large and small in a wide variety of genres including classical, rock, pop, and country. She also has experience with music production involving writing, recording, and touring with her own original music.
Samantha has over ten years of teaching experience. As a teacher, she prides herself on tailoring her teaching methods to align with the individual goals of each student rather than adhering to a rigid curriculum. She specializes in helping beginner players develop proper technique and explore their creative expression.
About Lessons
Whether it’s learning to read music, play along with your favorite songs, or write your own, I create a unique learning experience that fits your goals.
In our lessons we’ll discuss your objectives and develop an easy, step-by-step practice routine to get you there. We’ll start each session by going over new material and end by integrating what we learned into a simple practice technique that you can use throughout the week.
